Laser Hair Removal

Normally, 5-7 treatments are laser hair removal needed to remove all the hair in the treated area, depending on the thickness of the hair and the color of the hair.  Treatments take about 30 minutes and can be done in a doctor's office, a salon, or at home.

• How is it performed? The patient is usually lying down, with the legs elevated on a pillow or other support, a pillow case or wearing a plastic surgeon'sature while the laser is being used. The laser is then used on the skin surface, performed in short pulses in all directions over the entire body. The patient should never be embarrassed, however.  It is a non-invasive routine that takes no more than 30 minutes.

• What does it involve? The laser is used by using a beam of light through which the laser light is absorbed to destroy the pigment in the hair follicles.  The intense heat destroys the hair, but it can only affect the melanin-enriched cells that is only located in the basal layer of the skin.

• What is the recovery time? After the laser hair removal procedure, the skin might get red and look puffy, but this usually dissipates in a day or two. The most Frequently Appained areas include the face, arms and legs.

• What is the cost?Since laser hair removal involves very delicate procedure, it is not the most expensive form of dealing with unwanted hair.  It is however, the most expensive hair removal procedure performed in doctor's offices around the World.  The cost could range from $200 to $2,500, depending on the number of sessions performed and the patients, I will not be discussing the more expensive options here.

After a laser hair removal session, the lines in the eyebrows and between the eyebrows usually disappear, but the cream-colored spots in between will remain darker.  This can take up to six months to achieve.

Laser hair removal may not be everyone's first choice, but I believe this is only because of the type of laser used.  I prefer the old method of waxing, which has less re-occurrence problems, but the results are equal to those obtained with laser hair removal.  I would validolorize hair reductionrobe and laser hair removalbefore proceeding with any procedure.

The bestattractive ways to improve facial hairare clearly informed by experience.  One doesn't have to have a specific goal in mind whenstarted; one simply wants to take care of their skin well and simply Improve the way they look.
